The difference between spray poly aluminum chloride and plate-frame poly aluminum chloride

Spray poly aluminum chloride and plate-frame poly aluminum chloride are two common application forms of poly aluminum chloride (PAC) in water treatment. They have the following differences:
Appearance and form:
Spray poly aluminium chloride is usually in the form of solid particles or powder, while plate and frame poly aluminium chloride is in the form of a plate for easy handling and use.
Dissolution speed:
Relatively speaking, spray poly aluminum chloride has a faster dissolution speed, because its particles are smaller, which is conducive to rapid reaction with water. Plate and frame poly aluminum chloride takes longer to achieve sufficient dissolution.
Mixing method:
Spray poly aluminum chloride usually needs to be dissolved in water first, and then fully mixed with water by stirring. The plate and frame poly aluminum chloride is directly put into the water, and the natural water flow or pressurized filtration is used to let the water pass through the plate and frame structure and react physically and chemically with the poly aluminum chloride.
Scope of application:
Spray poly aluminum chloride is suitable for larger treatment capacity, especially for batch water treatment. Plate and frame poly aluminum chloride is suitable for small water treatment systems, such as household water purifiers, small experiments in laboratories, etc., which is more flexible and convenient.
To sum up, there are obvious differences between spray PAC and plate-frame PAC in terms of appearance, dissolution rate, mixing method and scope of application. When choosing a specific application form, factors such as the scale of treated water, usage scenarios, and equipment characteristics need to be considered.IMG_E1674-removebg-preview
